Job description: Regional Sales Manager, North

Due to the continued ongoing success, we are looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to manage our Northern sales & specification teams.
Job Purpose & Scope
Reporting to the UK Sales & Specification Manager, you will be managing a team of eight field-based sales/specification managers, providing coaching and tactical support and direction. Your key role is to develop and implement clear tactical and strategic plans that will deliver Rockfon UK business goals, ensuring delivery of sales and profitability targets.
Key Result Areas
- Achieve agreed commercial targets (volume and value) in line with the Rockfon UK objectives
- Prepare and facilitate the delivery of team and individual tactical plans to ensure we maximise opportunity in all segments and customers groups
- Identify growth opportunities with new and existing customers, working closely with the National Sales Manager (UK) to maximise commercial success in the UK
- Support the development and implementation and contribute towards the UK business plan
- Support the development and implementation of the UK marketing plan
- Manage the performance and development of field-based sales and specification personnel, conducting regular documented face to face meetings and performance reviews in line with group policy, providing timely and appropriate training and support to maximise efficiency, productivity, and potential
- Provide timely and accurate pricing on all projects/product pricing requests submitted for approval while striving to maintain the best interests of the company
- Maintain accurate records of all pricing, forecasting, sales, and activity reports through the RockSell CRM system and provide a weekly dashboard to the National Sales Manager (UK) for information
- Take a proactive role as a member of the UK Sales & Specification Management Team working in partnership with colleagues across the wider business
- Adhere to and ensure full direct report compliance with the UK expenses policy to meet budget in line with the company guidelines
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and company values and ensure they are communicated and implemented across the direct report line

Characteristics and experience we’re looking for:
- 5+ Y#years’ experience ideally within a sales management role, multi-disciplined stakeholders
- Experience of managing and developing strong relationships with key clients
- Written and spoken English language up to a high professional business level
- Provide clear direction to others as to what is expected of them
- Contributes to employees/colleague’s development
- Experience of providing direction & guidance to a team in a way that leads to optimal results
- Actively works with customers/clients to identify their needs & comes up with suitable proposals
- Gains an in-depth insight into other people and adjusts their behavioural style in order to achieve goals
