Light reflection expressed in % is measured in accordance with ISO 7724-2.
Humidity And Sag Resistance Humidity And Sag Resistance Up to 100% RH.
No visible deflection in high humidity
ROCKFON ceiling tiles are dimensionally stable even at humidity levels of up to 100% relative humidity and can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C. They can be installed during the very early stage of the build (when windows are not fully sealed). Their lightweight yet stable non-hygroscopic character minimises the final weight of the fully-installed ceiling. ROCKFON ceiling tiles are predominantly classified as Class 1/C/0N in accordance with EN 13964. Certain module sizes (width above 700mm) are Class 2/C/0N.
Surface Durability Surface Durability The high performance inert film of Rockfon MediCare Block provides enhanced durability and water-repellence.
The film contains DMAc (CAS 127-19-5) in a concentration ≥ 0.1w% and < 1w%. There is no intended release under normal foreseeable conditions of use.
The surface of some ROCKFON products is specially treated to provide enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
Cleaning Cleaning Vacuum, Damp cloth, Dry steam cleaning (daily), Chemical resistance: Tests carried out in accordance with ISO 2812-1 (“Determination of resistance to liquids - Part 1: Immersion in liquids other than water”) and classification in accordance with VDI 2083 Part 17. Results are classified as ‘Excellent’ with the following detergents and disinfectants: – Formalin (37%) – Ammonia (25%) – Hydrogen peroxide (30%) – Sulphuric acid (5%) – Phosphoric acid (30%) – Peracetic acid (15%) – Hydrochloric acid (5%) – Isopropanol (100%) – Sodium hydroxide (5%) – Sodium hypochlorite (15%), Resistant to disinfection using Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour, with no impact on aeration time
Vacuum:
The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment.

Damp cloth:
The surface can be cleaned using a damp cloth or sponge with a slightly alkaline detergent (pH between 7 and 9) without alcohol, ammonia or chlorine. This may render the surface slightly shinier, so we recommend cleaning the entire surface evenly.
Hygiene Hygiene Stone wool provides no sustenance to microorganisms
Stone wool provides no sustenance to the following microorganisms tested in accordance with JIS Z 2801:2000 and ASTM C 1338-96:

– Escherichia coli
– Staphylococcus aureus
– Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
– Stachybotrys chartarum
– Penicillium brevicumpactum
– Alternaria tenuissima
– Aspergillus niger
– Sporobolomyces roseum
– Rhodotorula rubra
Microbiological class M1 fulfilling the requirements of Zone 4 (very high risk) defined by NF S 90-351:2013. Tested with:
- Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA)
- Candida Albicans
- Aspergillus Brasiliensis
Clean Room Classification Clean Room Classification 2
Clean room classification is measured in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
Bacteriological Class M1, NF S 90-351:2013
Air Pressure Air Pressure Suitable in areas where differential pressure is required to prevent infections from spreading. Due to its high performance film, combined with HDC2 clips (8 clips per 600 x 600mm tile), it achieves an air leakage rate of less than 0.5 m³/h/m²/Pa under a pressure range of 5 to 40 Pa.

A24-edge tiles are a cost-effective solution that provides easy access to the installations hidden behind the ceiling. Tiles with an A-edge are also the perfect complement to concealed and semi-concealed ceilings (e.g. when used as a perimeter trim). They can be mounted in T24 grid systems. A-edge tiles are demountable.
