Rockfon Global Acoustics Ambassador Pascal van Dort offers an insider look into the SONATA Horizon Project* – the EU-funded research initiative exploring how workplaces could dynamically adapt to changing human needs in real time through responsive architectural systems and recommendations. 

Drawing from room acoustic measurements, simulations, and live testing environments, Pascal van Dort will introduce emerging systems and technologies designed to support the human experience in open-plan offices.

About Pascal van Dort

Since joining Rockfon in 1999, Pascal van Dort has become one of the industry’s leading voices on acoustics, with a particular focus on workplace acoustics. Referring to himself as “a preacherman on a crusade for the importance and impact of sound”, he serves as Global Acoustics Ambassador at Rockfon and is currently authoring the research paper Dynamic Acoustic Management in Open-plan Offices: a Case Study on Activity-driven Mobile Partitions and Adaptive Ceiling Panels.
